Nugget of Truth: Grace
Earlier this week, I ran into an individual out shopping for errands. As embarrassing as it was, my cart smashed into his as I was looking the other direction. I apologized profusely, and the older gentleman shared, “Thankfully, this crash will not cost us anything.” Isn’t this the case as Christians, we are walking in our Lord and Savior’s Grace. Perhaps you may have had an abrupt interruption. A moment where you knew you were running running running. And by His Grace (which does not cost anything), you recognized His hand in a particular situation. For some it may mean slow… down. For others, you know you have been set free and are to extend this grace and forgiveness to others. Either way, grace is a gift. And many who are chasing titles or esteem will at some point crash. Whether it be a shopping cart or a wall, soon enough, there is only one place to look, and that is ‘up.’ Thank You Lord for Your amazing Grace. I pray for those who are chasing something in life which may have little or no meaning. For we all fall short of Your Glory. And those who seek shall find Your truths. Thank You Lord, and may we all take a moment to live in the moment. For if we are one step ahead, we will miss or hit the object/person in front of us. Thank You, in Your Name we pray. Amen ♥️
Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
