Have you ever felt as though another rain storm may break your umbrella? Just like an umbrella can falter, so we too as parents need a reminder that raising children can be one of the most rewarding and difficult jobs out there. For the parent who is weary, worn out, and simply beyond fatigued, know that our Lord and Savior see’s all and hears your frustrations. I cannot imagine what lies ahead, but know this too shall pass. Whether it be a confused look or a stubbornness that is beyond our knowledge, His hand can swallow up any pride, and bring forth love should we call for His help.
Thank You Lord for reminding me that even Jonah gave You praise as he was delivered from the mouth of a whale. And just as some of us wish for our child to learn from their behavior, it is You Lord who brings about conviction. And this is not administered to condemn, but to bring to light what has been buried. And life in You Lord will always expose what is in the dark. And just as the rain will stop, we thank You for brighter days ahead. Thank You Lord, in Your Name we pray. Amen
