Have you ever dropped glass and discovered it landed in the dish you had prepared for dinner? This evening, an accident occurred where a large piece of glass landed exactly where I hoped it wouldn’t land … And I explained to my daughter that accidents happen. Even though glass appeared all over the food and on the floor, it is a reminder how quickly things can shatter and or break in front of us. For the individual who has felt like they are walking on glass, please know our Lord and Savior is the only One to repair what is damaged. For glass which is broken must either be fixed or thrown away, is this not true? May we all press into the One who can restore anything broken, including a sharp piece of glass which can cut so deep. For those who are cut know healing must take place. And just like a wound must heal, so must we trust the One true healer which created the glass in the first place.
Psalm 56:3-4 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?”
