Have you ever hung several frames to say, ‘gosh that looks good?’ Earlier this evening (during the Panther’s game), my husband offered to hang the three pictures above. They read ‘Faith, hope, and love,’ respectively as a collection of three. Again, the theme I am pointing to in my home is to point to the One who knew this home prior to our arrival in it. Seven years ago this week we moved into our house. And after seven years, my hope is to personalize our home with stories, pictures, and Scripture to share how His hand is apart of every detail. You may say, ‘well, decorating takes time, and can be quite expensive.’ I have come to find that where your treasure is where your heart is, and this season of my life is where His heart is. At home. Glorifying His Name, and writing to encourage and edify His Bride. If our home is not a sanctuary, how can we then have peace? And if peace is not present, how can we then know Him? For those who seek shall find, and those who ask shall be answered, but most importantly, those who knock, the door will be opened. Many will stumble searching for peace in material items. The number ‘7’ is significant for completion. And it amazes me His timing, as each room unfolds with pictures and Scripture to create a home. Isn’t that the main purpose? Turn your house into a home. New relationships, and new doors to unlock. May we all seek His face, as His timing is always perfect, and His keys always match His plans. 🔑
