My prayer is for the Christian who is walking along side a river bank searching… unknowingly searching for keys to a door that does not actually fit. How many can say they have experienced this? Finding a lost key can often be a wave of relief for some. However, finding a key which does not fit correctly into a door only brings about anxiety. Many in the Body of Christ find themselves in this situation. Relying on their own strength to unlock a door. Being a Christian does not mean some doors will open easily, however, it is trusting the One and Only who has every key. Thank You Lord for reminding us that You hold every key to not only our heart, but to every door in our path. We needn’t search for lost keys, as You Lord have all that we need. And we are to trust that every door opened is there for a reason. To walk by faith and trust that You have all of the answers needed to prosper us and lead us into calm waters. Not to harm, but to give us a hope and a future which glorifies Your Holy Name. Thank You Lord for this wonderful reminder that Your water is Living, just as a river bank which fills naturally, so does Your Word fill our soul when we seek You. Thank You Lord for every opened door! And may we be reminded that when we seek You, our Heavenly King, You will be found, like a treasure waiting to be unveiled.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
